Bottle and Cellar

Welcome to Bottle and Cellar for the last 18 months I have been spending some spare time (and cash) gathering a starter kit of ales and lagers to age and review in an effort to encourage beer cellaring as a hobby. I am by no means the only person cellaring beer nor the only one writing or blogging about the process. This will simply by my personal take and I hope to encourage conversation, perhaps debate and spur people to give cellaring beer a try. I will be trying to get a minimum of one beer out of the cellar to review and prognosticate about each week. In addition am going to publish regarding new beers that are being released that might be good options for cellaring projects. As the blog and the reviews develop, I encourage anyone to suggest some beers they would like to hear about or suggest be added to the cellar. In cellaring beers I will be by and large discussing styles and breweries for which I can obtain adequate quantity and vintages to do multiple tastings over time, as opposed to one off reviews. As such I am geographically retail limited to a certain degree. Nevertheless whenever possible I am completely open to expanding my beer horizons. Hope you enjoy.
